Lynx Instinct Advert

Ive not always been keen on Lynx adverts but the new Lynx Instinct advert is an exception. This advert plays on the motto "Unleash your man leather" and is based on caveman times.

Some cavemen find a can of Lynx when they accidently drop a boulder and it splits to reveal the Lynx inside. One of the cavemen sprays himself, sorts his hair out and gets himself a sweet ride then goes for the ladies!

This is a great advert, its fun, interesting and original....plus I think the ending is funny :-D

The song in the advert is Cody Chesnutt - Look Good In Leather

Heinz Mayo Advert -- New York Deli

Heinz were advertising their new New York Deli flavoured mayo in the summer of 2008 and to their surprise the advert got banned within a week!

The advert plays on a family getting ready in the morning with the wife in the kitchen preparing food, the kids grabbing their pack lunch and running out the door and the husband taking his sandwiches on the way to work....normal family you would think. What the twist is with this advert is that the mother is actually a burly New York deli male cook and at the end he asks the father where his kiss goodbye is (as if he was the wife).

This is a great advert but because of the two men kissing in the advert it got banned, well Heinz I still give it a great thumbs up.

Cadburys Moving Eyebrows Advert

Cadburys have struck again with a really funny, interesting and original advert...this time for their Dairy milk bars.

This advert has just been aired in the UK and is already becoming a much talked about topic with many people laughing at its ingenuity.

The advert centres on two children who are dancing by moving their eyebrows to music, the dancing becomes very intense after a time because of the music speeding up. One of the children, a girl, then produces a balloon and uses the balloon to add to the music affect.

This is a funny advert, I love how cadburys use totally unrelated but interesting ways to advertise and this Cadburys dairy milk moving eyebrows advert is certainly one of their best.

Samuel L Jackson Barclays Advert

About a year or so ago Barclays commissioned an amazing advert directed by Jonathan Glazer. This Barclays advert had Samuel L Jackson walking down the road talking about whether money is evil, his belief is that money is not evil and its just the love of money that makes evil.

this is an amazing advert, even in its simplicity. Samuel L Jackson is such a great actor that he makes this advert come alive with his actions and the way he projects the words. I absolutely loves this Barclays advert.

Hovis Bread Advert

Who ever would have thought I would be posting an advert for bread! Well this advert for Hovis bread is great.

This Hovis advert is based on the fact that the bread they make today is as great as it has always been. The advert shows a boy pick up the loaf of bread froma shop and follows his travels home, the twist is that as he is moving from street to street the time he is in jumps a decade.

The advert starts back in the early 1900's just before the Titanic takes her maiden voyage and jumps through the 40's, 50's and so on to the present day.

This is a great advert if ever I saw on, it is also an advert that will capture the minds of all, young and old.

Monkey And Al PG Tips Advert

PG Tips have been using the Monkey and Al (Johnny Vegas) combination in their adverts for a long time, but these adverts still dont get boring....in fact they are getting better with time!

This latest installment of the Monkey and Al saga shows them doing a Morecambe and Wise routine with hilarious results. What supports this great routine is the backing music of "The Stripper" by David Rose, a classic song recorded in 1962 used for a classic advert.

PG Tips, keep the Monkey and Al adverts coming, we all love them...and Johnny Vegas.

T-Mobile - Life Is Made For Sharing

Yesterday I saw what is probably the best advert that has been on the television for a very long time, the advert is T-Mobile - life is made for sharing.

This advert was shot in Liverpool train station on 15th January and starts with people all waiting around in the train station before music comes over the tannoy. When the music starts a large group of people start a huge selection of choreographed dances as different songs play.

What is amazing about this is that it was done as public were walking around also waiting for the trains, guess what....alot of the public ended up joining in the dancing.

The advert finishes with two girls laughing as they look at their mobiles after recording the dancing and then the slogan T-Mobile Life is made for sharing comes up.

T-Mobile, this should end up with some kind of advertising award this is a master piece in advertising.

Compare the Meer Kat Advert

Comparethemarket.com have really gone to town on their latest advert by using a posh Russian meer kat called Aleksandr. The meer kat is cute and funny while advertising gocompare.com rather well.

The advert plays on Aleksandr the Meer Kat saying he is Aleksandr the Meer kat from comparethemeerkat.com and that he keeps getting Emails from people who want cheaper car insurance. He goes on to say that people are going to the wrong site and they should visit Comparethemarket.com if they want cheaper car insurance.

I love this advert and think its great, so I just had to post it.

Bring on the Trumpets Advert

The Natural Confectionary Company bought out a series of adverts to advertise their natural Sweets with no artificial colours or flavours. My favourite of all these adverts was the "Bring on the trumpets" advert where a bear sits up high shouting out "Bring on the trumpets" while a snake below is wondering what is going on.

This advert is clever because of its simplicity and also for the fact that it grabs your attention, this really is a great advert well done The Natural Confectionary Company.

Volkswagen Golf Matrix Advert

The new Volkswagon Golf advert is a masterpiece in advertising. The new Volkswagen advert is advertising the VW new Golf VI Mk6. Some people have alikened this advert to the Matrix but I dont see this.

The idea of the advert is that the chief designer of Volkswagon really needs to beat himself in order to create the best Golf Volkswagon has ever released to the car market. The designer constantly fights with himself winning every battle.

In the background you can hear a song saying eins, zwei, drei, vier (one, two, three, four in German).

I love this Volkswagon advert and think you will too.

Frank Pablo the Dog Advert

The British government have a drug awareness campaign called FRANK. very time a new advertising campaign for FRANK comes on the TV it is always interesting, intelligent, thought provoking and sometimes even humourous.

The new FRANK television advert called Pablo the dog is certainly up there as probably the best advert FRANK have produced. The advert really gets a point across while keeping a humourous tone. The voices of the characters are played by two British comedians, David Mitchell and Dom Jolly.

Pablo the dog is found as he has been used as a drug mule, but the advert plays on Pablo on the drug scene and everything that goes with it. Well done FRANK.

Muller Yoghurt Lick The Lid Of Life

This Muller advert was on long ago back in 2008 :) but I thought it would be a great advert to put up today, New Years day.

This Muller advert plays on the motto, lick the lid of life and has people aged one to one hundred in the advert to advertise Muller yoghurt.

The man who is 100 in the advert was actually spotted by an agent of the advertising company who found his birthday listed in the Elstree and Borehamwood times.

This is a great and touching advert.
